2008-01-20  In Anbar, Iraq, a 13-year-old boy wearing an explosives-packed vest blew himself up among a group of tribal leaders in the western province of Anbar, killed at least three other people and wounded eight.
  
2008-01-20  In Serbia, results from the state election commission on the first round of Serbia’s presidential vote showed hardliner Tomislav Nikolic at 39.6 percent of the vote, while pro-Western President Boris Tadic took 35.5 percent. The decisive run-off is on Feb 3.

Kenya

In Kenya, three people were killed overnight in Baba Dogo and in Kibera slums in Nairobi by the police.
Another five people were killed in Kisumu, in the west of the country, it is uncear who killed them.
This brings to 33 the number of deaths over the past three days related to opposition protests.
